Sebelum saya memulai menulis cd
review ini, Saya ingin mengucapkan ‘Thanks a lot’ untuk mas bro Susilo dari
WAAR Productions yang telah mengirimkan Cd Delirium Mental ini ke Busuk Webzine
serta memasukkan logo Busuk Webzine di Cover Cd Delirium Mental Ep 2013. Kota Tangerang
telah melahirkan band yang bernama DELIRIUM MENTAL dan telah terbentuk ditahun
2009. Beberapa minggu yang lalu tepatnya tgl 8 November 2013, mereka barusan
saja memuntahkan Ep terbaru yang berisikan 5 buah lagu dan Ep ini langsung
ditangani oleh WAAR Productions. ‘Imajinasi
Tak Bertuhan’ menjadi pilihan pada title dari Ep 2013 ini dan sangat terdengar
kental permainan old school death metalnya dan walaupun terkadang musik death
metal itu terdengar membosankan namun disini mereka sangat baik dan jeli dalam
mengaransemennya.... dan saya benar-benar sangat menikmatinya....meskipun
sebenarnya band ini juga tidak jauh berbeda dari begitu banyak hal lainnya
dalam genre ini.....namun mereka berusaha untuk memainkan style tersendiri. For this Ep, most of the riffs are coherent
and the music overall diverse and also there are lots of good riffs and parts.
In contrast to the standard death metal vocals...so it works well and fits the
heavy feel of the songs nicely. I like that the bass and gets a bit of room. Well,
the band plays the kind old death metal that i really like and the music is heavily
influenced by Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse and Grave, so this mean death metal
with lots of heavy and slow mosh parts...It’s provides the songs with a fat and
rough feel serta tentu adanya dosis permainan blastbeats. The song-writing is
good too. Sesuatu yang lainnya adalah that profits the music is the
productions. It’s thick and juicy and it gives the music a compact sound.
Imajinasi Tak Bertuhan is a potent and ruthless effort. If you like old death
metal that is catchy, diverse and well-played then DELIRIUM MENTAL is a band
that you should go and check out. And of course there are always room to
improve, but Imajinasi Tak Bertuhan is a strong Ep and you can buy their cd by
WAAR Productions. Rating 8/10.
